The line-up of terrific participants for the National Review Institute’s 2019 Ideas Summit continues to swell: NRI has just announced that Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai will be joining the conference to discuss the FCC’s priorities, a decidedly important matter (and one of great concern to the adversarial Left).
Yes, there are additional big names we are confident will be announced early next week (if I told you who they were, well, you know what I’d then have to do to you). You’ll just have to remain in suspense.
But you really shouldn’t dawdle about registering — that can be done here. Why? Because the deadline for signing up is this weekend. When you sign up, and you will, what you’ll be getting is full participation in the whole shebang, from Thursday afternoon, when the summit kicks off, to the delightful exclamation point, when the revered James L. Buckley will address the assembled on federalism. In between there will be a terrific dinner in which First Amendment champion Mark Janus will receive the Whittaker Chambers Award, preceded by a reception, breakfast and lunch on Friday, and some 17 or so sessions in which the key issues of the day will be addressed, by the likes of . . . well, here’s the list so far of confirmed speakers:

I’d tell you “chop chop” if I didn’t think the PC Police might slap on the handcuffs and charge me with some thought crime — so instead let me most strongly urge you to get registered right now. As in right now. All done easily here.
