In response to Defunct Dogma
When I read a Cardinal of the Catholic Church saying that a moral teaching of the Church, which traces back to the words of Jesus and the letters of St. Paul, is derived merely from a “sociological-scientific foundation,” the first question that comes to my mind is why any man who believes such a thing would devote his entire adult life to the Catholic priesthood.
